Traffic instructions of DMP on Mahan Vijay Divas.

On the occasion of Great Victory Day, a parade of combined forces will be held at the National Parade Square on December 16. Traffic Tejgaon Division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has advised all types of vehicles, except those with stickers, to avoid certain roads from 5:30 AM to 1 PM to control traffic in the area adjacent to Parade Square during the Victory Day celebrations. Roads where there will be traffic control: Sonargaon Crossing to Farmgate, Khejur Bagan Crossing to Urojahajaz Crossing and Rokeya Sarani to Mirpur-10 Roundabout. Shyamoli, Shishumela crossing and 60 feet to Rokeya Sarani via Agargaon light crossing. From Mohakhali, Jahangir Gate to Agargaon Link Road through new road in front of Prime Minister’s Office. Loveroad East Head, Vijay Sarani Crossing-Aircraft Crossing, Crescent Lake to Ganabhavan Crossing. Dhon Suhrawardy Hospital South Side Road, Agricultural University Road, Ministry of Defense Gap through Planning Commission to BICC Crossing. Vehicles with stickers of invited guests are requested to enter the National Parade Square grounds from Vijay Sarani Crossing, Aircraft Crossing, Ministry of Defense Gap and Mirpur No. 10 Crossing. DMP also informed that on the eve of Victory Day, VVIPs, VIPs and invited guests will travel to and from Savar Memorial on the road from Dhaka through Aminbazar to Savar Memorial on the eve of Victory Day. On this occasion, on that day, i.e. from 3:00 am on the night of December 15 to 10:30 am on December 16, large vehicles including buses, minibuses, trucks, lorries avoid Gabtali Aminbazar Bridge-Savar Road and use Dhaka Airport Road-Abdullahpur Crossing-Ashulia Road as an alternative road. Requested to do so. Similarly, Dhaka-bound vehicles from Aricha via Aminbazar were requested to enter Dhaka via Ashulia from Nabinagar Bazar. Dhaka-bound vehicles from Tangail via Ashulia are advised to enter Dhaka via Kaliakair-Gazipur intersection-Tongi.
