In Bajua of Dakop, Khulna, there has been a negative reaction in the mind of the artist group based on the conference of Dakop Upazila branch of Bangladesh Jatra Art Development Council. Most of the artists demand that the committee be formed again. They said that on the day of the conference, Wednesday, September 13, the weather was not good and it rained a lot, so out of the 400 invited artists, 100-120 people were present. In the meantime, the conference ended. The whole day was hostile and then it was concluded. Although all the members of the central committee were present, the invited chief guest Bangladesh Awami League central executive committee member and woman MP Ed. Gloria Jharna Sarkar and the invited honorable guest Bajua UP chairman Manas Kumar Roy could not attend. That’s why they expressed grief. Therefore, the Yatra Pagal industry group of the area demands that the committee be formed by voting in the presence of everyone by re-announcing the date. Because this committee will not be accepted in the presence of a small number of artists, if necessary we will go to Dhaka and protest for the cancellation of the committee. Bangladesh Jatra Industry Development Council President Bajrul Alam Dulal, General Secretary Atikur Babu were present at the meeting of Dakop Upazila branch. Vice President Wasim Asgar, SM Shafi, Parul Akhtar, Payal Das and many others were also present. Sushant Ghosh Anjan, Convener of Dakop Upazila Branch presided over the event and member secretary Augustin Sarkar Debu conducted the entire program. After announcing the names of president Amar Roy and secretary Nimai Mandal in the conference, the central committee ordered the newly formed president and secretary to announce a new committee with 41 members. However, as soon as the names of the president and editor of the committee were announced, controversy arose over the committee. Therefore, the chairman of the central committee left the stage without giving approval to the committee. He said that the committee will be announced in the next session.
