Bangmata Cultural Alliance held a joyous rally on the occasion of the inauguration of the first metro rail in Bangladesh. The auspicious inauguration of Bangladesh’s first Metrorail ‘Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Line-6’ from Uttara to Agargaon is a unique milestone in the development of the country’s communication system. Around the inauguration of the Metrorail, the leaders of the Bangmata Sanskriti Jot were present at Diabari in Uttara from the morning of December 28 (Wednesday). The founding president of the alliance Sheikh Shah Alam said that his daughter Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is working tirelessly to fulfill the dreams of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the father of the nation. Under his visionary and efficient leadership, the country is progressing towards the implementation of ‘Vision 2041’. As a result of the prudence, right direction and courageous leadership of the government, the smooth construction of metro rail has become possible in the densely populated Dhaka metropolis. The inauguration of the Uttara (North) to Agargaon section of MRT Line-6 or Bangladesh’s first metro rail ahead of schedule, overcoming many hurdles and the harmful effects of the Corona virus pandemic and the global economic recession, is the result of the combined efforts of the government, Dhaka Metropolitan residents and stakeholders. General Secretary Anup Kumar Barua, Joint General Secretary Rakan Uddin Pathan, S Vijay, were also present in this joyous rally.
