Ittefaq anniversary celebration at Natore, Bagatipara.

Ittefaq’s foundation anniversary was celebrated in a colorful event at Bagatipara, Natore. Daily Ittefaq, the legendary media of the country, entered its 70th anniversary today. Ittefaq has faithfully performed its duties at every stage of the movement behind the birth of Bangladesh. Ittefaq has gone through various ups and downs and thorny paths and today it has become the spokesperson of the people. On this occasion, a cake cutting and discussion meeting was held at Upazila Press Club on Monday (December 26) morning under the chairmanship of Ariful Islam Tapu, Daily Ittefaq correspondent and convener of the press club. Founder and social activist Arifur Rahman Kanak of Mukt Khamar was the chief guest, Mayor of Bagatipara municipality AKM Shariful Islam Lelin, chief negotiator Muhammad Kamrul Islam, secretary general of the central executive council of the National Journalist Association, special guest, Bangladesh Army University of Engineering and Deputy Registrar of Technology Ashraful Islam, publisher of daily Chalanbiler Khabar and president of Natore district branch Rafiqul Islam Rose, general secretary of Upazila Action Organization Al-Mamun Sarkar, municipal panel mayor Yusuf Ali and local councilor Azizur Rahman.
