Celebrating Digital Bangladesh Day in Lalpur.

Digital Bangladesh Day was celebrated at Lalpur, Natore with the theme ‘Progressive Technology Inclusive Development’. On Monday (December 12-22) morning, wreaths were placed at the portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Lalpur Upazila Parishad premises and a procession was taken out. Later, a discussion meeting was held under the chairmanship of Lalpur Upazila Executive Officer (Acting) Debashish Basak. In the discussion meeting Chairman of Lalpur Upazila Parishad Ishaq Ali was present as the chief guest. Lalpur Upazila Primary Education Officer Alea Ferdausi, Lalpur Upazila Assistant Primary Education Officer Rafiqul Islam, Zahurul Islam Khan and Rehena Khatun etc. were present as special guests. Various journalists and journalists from local electronic and print media were also present. Later, at the end of the discussion meeting, prizes and certificates were distributed among the winners of the essay and speech competition held among the students.
