Rampal (Bagerhat) Representative:

A worker named Md Tarun Hossain (22) died after falling from the Banglalink phone tower in Bhaga Bazar area of Rampal, Bagerhat.

On Wednesday (August 30) afternoon, while getting up to work on the Banglalink phone tower in Baga area, the accident happened.

When the locals rescued the young man and took him to the hospital, the doctor on duty, Dr. Tahrima Khatun, Medical Officer of the Upazila Health Complex, declared him dead. The deceased Md. Tarun Hossain is the son of Shariful Howladar of Kadamtala village of Shailkupa upazila of Jhenaidah district.

Medical Officer of Rampal Upazila Health Complex, Dr. Tahrima Khatun, said that the young man died on the spot after falling from the tower and suffered a head injury and heavy bleeding.

In this regard, Rampal Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) S. M. Ashraful Alam told reporters that after receiving the news, sub-inspector of police station Md. Kamal Hossain attended the emergency department of Sangeet Force Upazila Health Complex and prepared a report of the deceased. He said that legal measures are under process in this regard.
