A teenager died while celebrating Argentina’s victory.

Argentina won the Qatar World Cup after defeating France. While celebrating the victory of the beloved country, a teenager named Shaon (10) was killed by a motorcycle in Comilla’s Manoharganj upazila. The accident took place at Khila Batabaria area on the Comilla-Noakhali regional highway around 12:30 pm on Sunday. The deceased Shawon is the nephew of Bachchu Mia of Khila Bara Bari of Manoharganj Upazila and office bearer of Khila Aziz Ulya High School and the son of Hakar Milan Mia. Monir Hossain, General Secretary of Khila Bazaar Management Committee, said that Shawon was watching the Argentina-France World Cup football game in the market with everyone in the area. Argentina’s supporters take out a joyous procession after Argentina’s victory. Shawn was in that victory procession. At 12:30 PM they were coming towards Khila Bazar in a victory procession on the Comilla-Noakhali regional road. At that time, a motorcycle going from Khila Bazar to Natherpetua hit Shawon hard. Shaun fell on the road and died on the spot. The motorcycle rider in the accident. Antar (23) and Mohammad Jihad Hossain (22) were seriously injured. Their identity is not known. Omar Farooq, assistant sub-inspector (ASI) of Lalmai outpost of the highway police, said the child Shaon died in a motorcycle accident while taking part in a joyous procession after Argentina’s victory. Two people were injured in this incident. The body has been handed over to the family members.
