Training workshop for agricultural produce traders in Kurigram Char area.

 A training workshop was held for agricultural traders in Dharla, Brahmaputra and Teesta Char areas of Kurigram.  Biplab Kumar Mohant, Deputy Director, Directorate of Agriculture Extension, Kurigram, was present as the chief guest on the opening day of the week-long workshop at the TDH Training Center in Kurigram on Sunday (December 11).  Intervention Area Manager of Swiss Contact, Md. Anayarul Islam, Cluster Officer of Swiss Contact, Md. Farhad Hasan, Shripad Sarkar, Mahideb Mfarsi Project Intervention Specialist, Md. Mahmud Kabir, Senior Intervention Officer, Md. Rabiul Islam, Monitoring Officer, Balram Ghosh, Md. Lutfar spoke.  Rahman, Md Jasmine Akhtar, Sudhanshu Kumar Roy, Trainer Md Aminul Islam.

 The organizers said that businessmen in Char area were given training in business management workshops.  In particular, proper marketing methods are introduced in the training along with maintaining the quality of the produce using modern methods of purchase and preservation of pasture produce.
