In Kurigram’s Nageshwari, Palli Vidyut office was threatened, complaint to the police station.

The former General Secretary of Nageshwari Upazila Chhatra Samaj has been accused of abusing the accountant and killing him by entering the office after disconnecting the connection due to the pending bill of another customer. In this incident, the deputy general manager of Kurigram-Lalmonirhat Palli Vidyut Samity’s Nageshwari zonal office filed a general diary against that leader at the police station.
At the same time, he complained to various departments. He mentioned that Zahidul Islam Zahid often came to the office and abused the linemen including the employees of the billing and cash branches. Even women workers have been accused of abusive language. The official complained to the police station on his behalf. Former General Secretary of Upazila Chhatra Samaj Zahidul Islam Zahid is the son of Omar Ali of Balatari village of Nageshwari Municipal area.
According to the complaint source, he entered the office at around 12:30 pm on March 4 and abused and threatened Syed Rafiqul Islam, accountant of the zonal office. Later, the matter was reported to the Deputy General Manager of the Zonal Office, Engineer Mohammad Abdul Halim. Later that day, the Deputy General Manager himself made a general diary at Nageshwari police station. The GD also mentioned that Zahid used to come to the office at various times and misbehave with the employees of the billing and cash branches. He used to abuse. He also threatened. He used to abuse the linemen by calling on the mobile phone.
Earlier, allegations of abusing the women workers of the billing branch have also been filed against him. A woman billing supervisor of the billing branch said on condition of anonymity that she has no work of her own. He used to bring other people’s work. When he entered the office, he would say do this and do that. If not, he will do this. He used to do that. He showed influence.
However, Zahidul Islam Zahid said, I went with a recommendation. I was treated badly by the accountant. The Deputy GM also behaved badly. Now they are plotting against me. I was called a broker. I go to brokerage. Argued with the accountant. He misbehaved with me.
Deputy General Manager of Kurigram-Lalmonirhat Palli Vidyut Samity’s Nageshwari Zonal Office told Mohammad Abdul Halim, “My statement is what you got in the GD.”
Nageshwari police station officer-in-charge Nabiul Hasan said, received a complaint in this regard. We will investigate.
