Amjad Hussain Lovelu, the martyred fearless commander, is deprived today.

Jessore District, Manirampur Representative:

Amjad Hossain Lovelu’s political life started from 1978. In 1982, he was elected as general secretary of Monirampur Upazila Chhatra League. President of Manirampur Upazila Chhatra League in 1984. In 1985 Jessore District Chhatra League Vice President. Member of Central Chhatra League in 1988. Member of Manirampur Upazila Jubo League in 1992. Organizational Secretary of Upazila Awami League in 1993 and 1997 (two consecutive times). Member of Jessore District Awami League in 1996. Upazila Awami League Joint Convener in 2001. Joint General Secretary of Upazila Awami League in 2003 and 2006 (two consecutive times). Member of Jessore District Awami League in 2014. Although the first mayor (chairman) of the first municipality was elected in 1999, he could not fulfill his duties due to the attack case by BNP. At that time, Awami League President Sheikh Hasina said that those who became chairman with party support will again be party-supported candidates in the next municipal elections, but bad luck. Nowhere in the country did the candidate change, but the party candidate changed only in Manirampur. At that time, the candidate nominated by Awami League was M. M. Nazrul Islam who was defeated by B, N, P candidate Shahid Iqbal by a huge margin. In 2014, he became the nominated candidate of Bangladesh Awami Party and was elected as the Chairman of Monirampur Upazila Parishad. Later on, the same incident happened again, then from 2018 to 2023, Parjant Amjad Hossain Lovelu served as the Vice President of Bangladesh Awami League, Monirampur Upazila Branch. The last time was on February 1, 2023. In the declared committee, Amjad Hossain Lovelu was given the post of member of Upazila Awami League. After being elected as the chairman of Monirampur Upazila Parishad in 2014, Mujib worked tirelessly for the common people with the aim of realizing Bangabandhu’s dream. Bangladesh Awami League wants to field a candidate with a popular and transparent image in this constituency ahead of the national parliament election. In that case, Amjad Hossain Lovelu has come forward as the only tested and transparent image candidate. He has risen above the party-opinion and has taken a place in the hearts of the people. Amjad Hossain Lovelu, the successor in this seat, is the companion of Awami League in difficult times. A tried and tested soldier of Mujib ideals of Rajpath. Amjad Hussain Lovelu, who is in charge of the Chairman, has shown simplicity in politics as well as living a simple life. Amjad Hussain Lovelu, the last resort of the Awami League loving oppressed and neglected people, risked his life twice for the party and was imprisoned. That is why many people think that he will be nominated in the future. Politically aware circles are saying that only Amjad Hossain Lovelu is at the peak of popularity in this seat and there is a possibility of losing the seat if he is not given as MP candidate of Awami League. What to see now is who is the candidate of Awami League in the upcoming parliamentary elections in this seat? Matching these numbers is more complicated. Because there are many candidates here, but the popularity of all is not equal. However, who gets the nomination of Awami League is a matter to be seen.
