Inauguration of Science and Technology Week at Bagatipara Natore.

The 44th National Science and Technology Week was inaugurated with the slogan “Stop wasting electricity and water”. Local MP Shahidul Islam Bakul inaugurated it on the ground in front of the upazila administrative building on Wednesday morning. Upazila Chairman Ahidul Islam Gokul was the special guest under the chairmanship of UNO (Acting) Suraiya Mumtaz at the initiative of the upazila administration. AGM Manjur Rahman of Palli Vidyut Bagatipara sub zonal office, Convener of Upazila Press Club Ariful Islam Tapu, Upazila Secondary Education Officer Ahad Ali, Upazila Awami League President Nurul Islam Thandu and Vice President Dwipak Kumar Kundu were also present in the event. Finally, a check of 2 lakh 90 thousand rupees was distributed from the Prime Minister’s relief fund for the treatment of 6 poor sick people.

Distribution of agricultural incentives in Bagatipara Natore.

In Bagatipara, Natore, free seeds and chemical fertilizers of various crops including wheat, mustard, lentil, kesari dal, winter onion, cowpea, maize, sunflower among 27 small and marginal farmers in order to increase cultivation and production in rabi season in the financial year 2022-23. The distribution program has been inaugurated. Local parliament member Shahidul Islam Bakul inaugurated it in front of the Upazila Agriculture Office on Wednesday morning, organized by the Department of Agriculture Extension and presided over by UNO (Acting) Suraiya Mumtaz as the chief guest. Upazila Chairman Ahidul Islam Gokul was the special guest. During the welcoming speech of Upazila Agriculture Officer (in-charge) Firoz Ahmed, Upazila Awami League President Nurul Islam Thandu and Vice President Abdul Wahab, Upazila Press Club convener Ariful Islam Tapu and others were also present.
