The main accused in the RAB case in which 18 cocktails were recovered from a house in Benapole port area of Jessore, the police arrested Badal Hossain, the owner of the house.
He was arrested on Sunday (September 3) morning. He is Badal (45), son of Abdul Jalil of Bara Achhra village.
Officer-in-charge of Benapole Port Police Station OC Kamal Hossain Bhuia said that RAB members filed a case at Benapole Police Station in connection with the recovery of 18 cocktails by RAB from Benapole. Badal Hossain, the owner of the house, was accused in the case. He was on the run fearing arrest. He was arrested after conducting a raid in the area. He said that the arrested accused will be handed over to the court.
