Rampal police station of Bagerhat arrested a person named Billal Moral (38) with banned drug ganja during the anti-narcotics operation.
The arrested is the son of Shahid Moral of Maniknagar village of Ujalkur union of Billal upazila.
On Monday (September 4) night, the Thana police received information from secret sources that a person was staying at Ronsen intersection for the purpose of selling drugs. On receiving this information, a smart team of police under the leadership of Sub-Inspector Sheikh Md. Azgar Ali raided there and arrested Billal along with 50 (fifty) grams of ganja.
In this regard, Rampal Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) S. M. When asked to Ashraful Alam, he said that a drug dealer was arrested from Ronsen area of Ujalkur union during a raid last night. A case under the Narcotics Control Act was filed against him and sent to the learned court today (September 5).
