Shazzad Hossain Dodul and Lazuk received Trab Award.

The 28th TRAB Award 2022 was presented on Thursday (December 15) in a colorful cultural ceremony organized by the Television Reporters Association of Bangladesh (TRAB). Producer, producer and actor Shazzad Hossain Dodul received awards in the best drama, best director and best actor categories for the popular TV serial ‘Musa’.

On the other hand, Rasheda Aktar Lazuk, Dodul’s wife, producer, playwright and actress, won the best dramatist category award in the drama category for the serial drama ‘Paribar’. Lajuk is the only female dramatist in Bangladesh who has aired about 2500 different serials. Numerous monologues have been aired. So far his serial Parivar has aired 309 episodes.Dodul said in an excited voice after receiving the award, he has received Trab Award many times before in various fields including best playwright and director. This time I got the most talked about serial drama ‘Musa’. I received awards in three categories. The most gratifying thing is winning an award for acting.

Earlier also won many awards including Bacchus for acting. But after a break of many years, I came back to acting. I got recognition for acting in the play ‘Musa’. It feels so good. All recognition of work gives motivation and encouragement to move forward. Rasheda Aktar Lazuk says; rewards always speed things up. The award is not only an honor but also an inspiration. Receiving such an honor has increased my commitment to work. Will try to do something better in the future.It should be noted that on Thursday (December 15) evening, Information Minister Hasan Mahmud presented the prizes to the winners as the chief guest at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in the capital.
