Cultural development has started in Kurigram with month-long film screenings.  On the occasion of the 3rd Bangladesh Film Festival, selected films are being screened in different educational institutions in Kurigram under the slogan ‘Movies for everyone, art and culture for everyone’.  2017 Government of Bangladesh grant film ‘Rapsa River Bend’ was screened at Majida Adarsh ​​Degree College Auditorium on Sunday afternoon.
On this occasion, a discussion meeting was held under the chairmanship of Sirajul Islam Tuku, president of the college governing body.  Presented by lecturer Mamun Selim, Bangladesh Awami League Kurigram Branch Vice President Bir Muktijoddha Akhtaruzzaman Mondal, District Art Academy General Secretary Principal Rasheduzzaman Babu, District Sports Association Vice President Said Hasan Loban, Assistant Professor Aynal Kabir, College Chhatra League President Mehdi spoke among others.  Hasan, General Secretary Kaushar Ahmed and others.
The film exhibition started in February under the management of Kurigram District Law Shilpakala Academy will continue till March 2.
