Fakir Khan (90), a brave freedom fighter of Panichattar village in Monirampur upazila of Jessore, passed away yesterday. In state honor, Monirampur land officer ——_—– and police of Monirampur police station gave state honours, the national flag draped his body. Yes. 5 people, including a father and son, were killed when a covered van ran over them in Jessore’s Manirampur. A tragic road accident took place in Begaritla area of Jessore-Manirampur road on Friday morning at 7:30 am. Officer-in-charge of Manirampur police station Sheikh Md. Moniruzzaman confirmed the incident and visited the incident site. The deceased are Habibur Rahman (40) of Tuniaghara village near Begaritla market, and his school-going son Taoshi (07), Shamchur Rahman (65) of the same village, Tauhidul Islam (28) and Ziaur Rahman (35) of Jaipur village.
