Gholam Mustafa’s book on the lost traditions of the past has been unveiled. Yesterday afternoon Sunday (February 19) Amar Ekushe book fair at Suhrawardy Udyan unveiling stage at 4 p.m., Deputy Director of Bangla Academy Tapan Baxi unveiled the book as the chief guest and Ekushe medalist poet Aslam Sunny was the special guest. Present at this time were Dhaka Journalists’ Union (DUJ) former office secretary Jannatul Ferdous Chowdhury, journalist and writer Golam Quader, Bangladesh Media Workers Association president Zakir Hossain Molla, Humayun Rahman (Apan Prakash and Prakashana), former Central Student League leader Md. Shah Alam, Md. Emon Hossain Staff Reporter Dainik Amar Samh, Asharya Pratidin and The Press Journal Senior Reporter Suman Khan, and Daily Manabzamin Swarupkathi Correspondent SM Sayem among others. Speakers say about the author, the way of writing is much better, it seems that he has written well long ago. But he never had any interest in publishing. He spent most of his life in journalism. Simplicity prevails in his writings. At the unveiling ceremony, the author said, “Thousands of years of history and tradition are not lost in the touch of modernity, I presented them to the young generation.”
