22 lakh 97 thousand cash and hygiene kits worth 50 thousand rupees have been distributed among 750 families affected by flood under the forecast based advance program for flood damage mitigation implemented by the Christian Aid-funded Mass Development Center in Roumari, Kurigram.  These were distributed among the beneficiaries of Bandber and Jadurchar Union of the upazila in the field of Roumari Upazila Project of Kazarloy at 11 am on Monday morning.
The distribution ceremony was attended by the newly elected chairman of Roumari Upazila Parishad.  Iman Ali, Yadurchar UP Chairman Sarabesh Ali, RSDA Executive Director Asraf Ali, Public Development Center Project Coordinator Md.  Munir Hossain etc.
During this time, 3 thousand 500 taka in cash was distributed to each family of 650 families and hygiene kits 1 bucket, 1 mug, 4 pieces of napkin cloth, 500 grams of detergent powder and 1 bath soap were distributed to each 100 families.
18th anniversary of Kurigram District Anti-Corruption Commission celebrated.

The 18th anniversary of the Kurigram District Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) was celebrated with various events.  On the occasion of the day, an anti-corruption oath reading and an exchange meeting with the District Anti-Corruption Committee were organized.
After reciting the oath in the ceremony, Deputy Director of District Anti-Corruption Commission exchanged views with the representatives of Kurigram District Anti-Corruption Committee (DUPRAC).  Jahangir Alam.  District ACC Deputy Director Mamun Ali Mondal, Assistant Director Khalid Mahmud, District Anti-Corruption Committee General Secretary Principal Haroon-or-Rashid Milan, Vice-President Educationist Aftab Uddin, Principal Maulana Noor Bakhat, Journalist Humayun Kabir Surya, Advocate Mohabbat Bin  Khandkar, Nasreen Begum, Abdul Waheed etc.
Discussions were held to re-invigorate social movement activities of the District Anti-Corruption Committee (DUPRAC) in the post-Covid era.  During this time, it was decided to launch the Satata Sangh and Satata Stores formed in the schools, read the anti-corruption oath in the schools and take anti-corruption activities on different days.
