Departmental Workshop on Prevention of Child Drowning Death organized by Solidarity in Kurigram.

 Rangpur divisional workshop on child drowning prevention was held in Kurigram. On Wednesday, Solidarity organized a day-long mass signature campaign and workshop at Solidarity Tower.  Former Civil Surgeon Dr. Aminul Islam spoke in the chair- Civil Surgeon Dr. Md. Manzoor-e-Morshed, Superintendent of Police Al Asad Mohammad Mahfuzul Islam, Former Additional Secretary Md. Ruhul Quddus, Additional District Magistrate Uttam Kumar Roy, Executive Director of Solidarity Bir  Freedom fighter Harun-or-Rashid Lal, deputy director of mass signature campaign.  Md. Mostafizur Rahman and others.

The speakers emphasized the importance of taking steps to raise awareness among parents, community leaders, teachers, religious leaders, family welfare workers, youth club members, local club members to reduce the rate of child drowning. Government, non-government officials and people from different levels of society were present in the workshop including Kurigram and Rangpur Division.
