Controversy again about the National Film Award, actress Bipasha Kabir raised questions.

Entertainment Reporter:-

This year’s National Film Awards 2021 has been talked about. Actress Anjana and Bipasha Kabir are upset about this. She also gave her comments on Facebook. Many have spoken in favor of it. She wrote, ‘I am unworthy, I have never done anything that deserves an award.. But you are worthy, why are you silent?? Where are you taking the movie theater day by day??

Where are the National Film Awards… why drama people give the status “this time and drama people’s victory” why you have made the National Film Award the National Drama Award… only at the end of the day if you select the artists’ association, director’s association?? Or will you look at the cinema as well… If this situation continues, there will be no more films..’

However, this time actress Dolly zahur and actor Ilias  Kanchan are jointly getting lifetime honors for their significant contribution to films. Apart from these two awards, mainstream films are getting 34 awards in 27 categories.

So what is going to destroy the commercial film? Last year, director Raihan Rafi’s ‘Paran’ was commercially successful in these two genres, and director Debashish Biswas’s ‘Shashurbari Zindabad-2’ was commercially successful in the commercial genre.

But according to many, mainstream and commercial films are never one genre. Starting from the 1970s and 20th century, the production, story and presentation of several commercial films including ‘Beder Meye Josna’ and ‘Ammajan’ are commercial films. There were 1,200 cinema halls and commercial films were leading the audience. Today is the digital age and audience demand has changed.

Moreover, there is a demand for watching movies in the country’s cineplexes. Perhaps it is taking time for the directors of FDC to come back with the times. From that point of view, the films of FDC are far behind the mainstream films. Why don’t they want to return to the mainstream story and production despite all this. That is the question of many people.
