Christmas is being celebrated in 5 churches in Kurigram.

 Kurigram Correspondent:

Christmas, the main religious festival of the Christian community, is being celebrated in 5 churches in Kurigram with special prayers, religious music and gift giving to children. On Sunday (December 25) morning, the Christmas cake cutting ceremony was held at Kurigram Ishai Fellowship Church at Kurigram River View School Junction.

Deputy Commissioner Saidul Arif spoke as the chief guest.  Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Uttam Kumar was present as special guest. Chief Apostle Mrs. Laila Sarkar, Pastor Simeon Sarkar, Evangelist Imran Sarkar, Roman Imtiaz, Cynthia Sabreen, Salahuddin Biswas, Sanchita Nandi, Lewis Biswas among others spoke on the occasion.  The event was conducted by Eric Nandi.
