A day-long agricultural loan fair was held in Kurigram. Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Saidul Arif inaugurated the fair on Monday afternoon. Organized by the Kurigram district administration and with the support of the District Agricultural Credit Committee, Kurigram organized 19 public and private bank stalls at the Victory Pillar of Independence and participated in the exhibition. Meanwhile, loans of Tk 1 crore 31 lakh were distributed to 156 beneficiaries from various banks.

Raw Area Incharge AKM Shamsul Alam, National Bank Vice President and Manager Mo Fulzar Hasan and others.

Independence Day Badminton Tournament organized by Kurigram District District Sports Association has started. Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Uttam Kumar Roy officially inaugurated the game at the Kurigram Itdoor Stadium on Sunday. Advocate Ahsan Habib Neelu, Vice President of District Sports Association spoke under the chairmanship of Mayor Kajiul Islam, former Commander of District Freedom Fighter Unit Sirajul Islam Tuku, Vice President of District Awami League Syed Hasan Loban, Member Secretary of Organizing Committee Gayas Khan and others.
Referee Abdul Matin said that 16 teams and 12 single teams are participating in the game. The final match will be held on March 15.
