5 members of thief gang arrested in Sariakandi, Bogura.

R.A Rashed, Sariakandi (Bogura) Correspondent: Sariakandi police arrested 05 members of a gang of thieves with 39 batteries in Sariakandi, Bogura.

Under the guidance of BPM, Bogra district was led by Assistant Superintendent of Police Niaz Mehdi of Gabtali Circle and Officer In-Charge (OC) Rajesh Kumar Chakraborty of Sariakandi Police Station along with SI (Retd) Khokon Chandra Das Sangeet SI (Retd) Nazrul Islam, SI (Retd) to make Bogra district drug-free and prevent theft and robbery. Golam Rasul, SI (retd) Mahabub Hasan On Monday night at 11.30 pm, along with the force, the accused Ratan Mia, son of deceased Abdus Sattar (40) from Fulbari Paschimpara (Panchpirtala) of Fulbari Union, was raided from inside the paddy breaking machine of Ratan Mia (40), son of deceased Abdus Sattar of Panchpirtala village under Sariakandi police station. Shamim (26) son of Latif Pk of Shalukgari area under Nepaltali Union, Gabtali police station, Zillur Rahman (25) son of Mohsin Akand of Kaludanga village, Entejar Pk (50) son of deceased Gobra Pk of Shalukgari area, Suman Islam (28) son of deceased Jabed Ali Prang of Kushahata area under Sariakandi police station was arrested.
Sariakandi Police Station Officer-in-Charge Rajesh Kumar Chakraborty said, 39 batteries were recovered from the custody of the arrested and a regular case was registered against the accused and handed over to the learned court.
