Khulna To make the country self-sufficient we need to increase the production of animal resources. There is no substitute for meeting the non-food and nutritional needs of a healthy and strong nation. The current government has focused on developing new technologies to increase the production of animal resources. We have to use all these technologies with proper training in farming. Jatiya Sangsad Whip Panchanan Biswas said this in the chief guest speech at Dakope Animal Resource Exhibition-2023. Upazila executive officer Mintu Biswas presided over the discussion meeting of the program organized at the upazila animal resources office premises at 11 o’clock. Dr. Bankim Kumar Halder, Upazila Animal Resources Officer, gave a welcome speech at the beginning of the program in support of Upazila Animal Resources Department and Vetonary Hospital and Animal Resources and Dairy Development Project. Khulna District Animal Resources Officer Dr. Arun Kanti Mondal, Deputy Director Artificial Breeding Swapan Kumar Roy, former Upazila Chairman and Upazila Awami League President Alhaj Sheikh Abul Hossain, Upazila Chairman Munsur Ali Khan spoke as special guests in the program conducted by Animal Resource Extension Officer Shamim Ara Haque. Dakop police station officer-in-charge Ujjal Kumar Dutta, Chalan Municipality Mayor Sanat Kumar Biswas, Upazila Vice Chairman Gaurpad Bachar. UP Chairman Panchanan Mondal, Sheikh Sabbir Ahmed, Dakop Press Club President Shipan Bhuiyan, successful farmer Tapas Roy, Arpana Kaviraj and others spoke. GM Reza and Alhaj Sheikh Abul Hossain won first place in bull show in this year’s animal show. At the beginning of the program, the guests toured the exhibition.
