Human papilloma virus vaccination campaign in Mohanpur

Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) Vaccination Campaign 2024 was held in Rajshahi’s Mohanpur to prevent cervical cancer. The campaign was held on Monday (October 21) at around 12 noon in the hall of Upazila Health Complex.
Through registration, from 24th October to 24th November, 5th to 9th grade girls including 10 to 14 years old girls will be tested for HPV. You can take the vaccine. Usually health workers will vaccinate girls at Mohanpur Upazila Health Complex and temporary health camps with educational institutions.
Mohanpur Upazila Executive Officer Aisha Siddika, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Jobaida Sultana, Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Md. Ariful Kabir, Officer In-Charge (OC) Abdul Hannan, Dr. Upazila officials including Tauhid Islam.
All pledged to work to ensure the vaccination of girls of Mohanpur upazila. Besides, they gave various suggestions to increase awareness about cancer prevention.
