Md. Benaul Islam, member of Shibganj upazila of Chapainawabganj and president of Kansat union branch of Awami League and former chairman of Kansat UP held a discussion meeting, yard meeting and mass communication on the upcoming upazila parishad election. Binodpur Union Branch Awami League General Secretary Jamil Uddin, Kansat Union Branch Awami League General Secretary Rezaul Karim, Binodpur UP election boat candidate Khairul Islam, Awami League leader Matiur were present in Binodpur primary school grounds on Sunday (September 3) evening. Speakers said in the discussion meeting that they are hoping to be nominated for the post of chairman in the upcoming upazila parishad elections. He appreciated the grassroots leaders and activists of Awami League. I hope Awami League President Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will nominate Benaul Islam.

Benaul Islam said in a discussion meeting on government development ideas and implementation that the Awami League government is working for the development of the people. During the tenure of this government, the amount of development throughout the country has not been developed during the tenure of any other government. The Awami League government has given honor allowance to those children of Surya who sacrificed their lives to fight against Pak-invaders and snatched the red-green flag, rice at the rate of Tk 15 per kg for the poor, widow allowance, elderly allowance, disabled allowance, roads and roads. The government is doing various developmental activities for the people including development, development of education system. And to continue this trend of development, I am calling to be elected again.

As a part of this, last Friday (September 1) afternoon Kansat UP (former) Chairman Md. Benaul Islam, who has received dozens of awards for his contribution to social service, had an exchange of views with the leaders and workers at the Kansat Pukhuria political office. He was also elected the best chairman in the district once. He has been involved in Awami politics since his student days and has been serving the common people for a long time. District Awami League vice president and former general secretary of Shibganj Upazila Awami League Md. Abdul Matin was the chief guest in the meeting.

Shibganj Upazila Awami League Vice President Kunal Mukherjee was the special guest. It was presided over by Md. Benaul Islam, who was nominated by Awami League as the chairman candidate in the Shibganj Upazila Parishad election. Kansat Union Awami League General Secretary Md. Rezaul Karim during the exchange of views, Kansat Union Awami League President and General Secretary, Union Jubo League President-General Secretary and various levels of leaders and workers. At the end of the exchange of views, all of them supported Md. Benaul Islam, the former successful chairman of the Kansat Union and a member of the Upazila Awami League, as a chairman candidate to compete with the nomination of the Awami League in the upcoming upazila council elections and promised to work together to bring success in the elections.

Apart from this, the former chairman of Kansat Union exchanged views with the leaders and workers of Binodpur Union Awami League and Jubo League on Sunday afternoon as part of the campaign for the nomination of Awami League as the chairman candidate in the Shibganj Upazila Parishad elections.
