Fakhrul called for release of roadmap for early elections

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir called upon the Chief Adviser of the interim government Dr Muhammad Yunus to reveal the roadmap for speedy elections and state reforms.
He made this call at Jatiya Party’s Kazi Zafar memorial meeting at Jatiya Press Club on Saturday (August 24).
The BNP Secretary General also urged the interim government to take visible steps in consideration of the interests of the people. Awami League friends are still active and urged to be alert to stop the conspiracy.
Mirza Fakhrul said, conspiracy is going on. I call on the interim government and the student leaders to be vigilant and hold discussions with the political parties so that counter-revolution does not happen.
