Ex-lawmaker Enamul held in city

 

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) today arrested former Awami League lawmaker Engineer Md Enamul Haque from the city’s Adabar area this morning on charges of shooting at student-people during the anti-discrimination student movement at Baghmara in Rajshahi district on August 5 last.

 

“We arrested Enamul from Dhaka’s Adabar area this morning,” Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) legal and media wing director Lt Col Md Munim Ferdous told BSS.

 

Enamul, former member of parliament from Rajshahi-4 constituency, was arrested in connection with a case filed with Baghmara Police Station by one Md Muns
