A rally and discussion meeting was held on the occasion of Jessore Independence Day on 6th December.

After the freedom fighters of Jessore, Jessore district was freed from Bangladesh. The sound of screams In the middle of the night, the girls were picked up, raped and killed. After the historic speech of the father of the nation, Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, freedom fighters were created in the homes of Bengal. Finally, the Pakistani invading forces had to flee from Bengal. Today, December 6th, the first invader of Bangladesh was freed. Therefore, this day is celebrated as Liberation Day in Jessore district. Under the chairmanship of Upazila Executive Officer, Md. Kabir Hossain, a meeting and rally was held on the occasion of Jessore Freedom Day 2022 on the initiative of the Upazila Administration on December 6, Manirampur Upazila Chairman Mr. Najma Khanam, Mayor Professor Mahmudul Hasan, Vice Chairman Mr. Uom Chakraborty Bachchu were present. Women Vice Chairman Kazi Joli Akhter, Monirampur Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mizanur Rahman, and many others.
